Starting monthly in August 2010, two separate 3-week sessions will be available: Burlesque Basics and Burlesque Fusion.
The Burlesque Basics Series are designed to teach the basics in burlesque performance including: increasing grace, balance, hip movements, shoulder movements, prop use, glove peels, sexy walks, stage presence, and tips on how to create your own choreography!
Tease and Tone with our Burlesque Fusion Series. This class is designed to teach you how to incorporate burlesque with various styles of dance. This is a heavy dance, cardio based series that focuses on choreography.
The Academy of Tease is open to all ages and abilities (must be at least 18 years of age to sign up). All classes will be held at The ARTS at Marks Garage in Chinatown. Each month will have a different focus and will be taught by members of CBC. Series must be paid for in advance or drop-in class fees will apply.

Instructor: Miss Catwings
Description: This class is an intro to incorporating boa’s into burlesque numbers. This class will focus on basic skills as well as individual talents and personalization.
Supplies Needed: none (CBC will provide boa's, but students are welcome to bring their own if they have.)
September Burlesque Fusion Series (7-8PM)
Focus: CONTEMPORARY SAMBA
Instructor: Lola Love
Description: This class will incorporate Brazilian samba, jazz and burlesque with a focus on technique and choreography.
